The ambiance, view, and food were amazing. I got a salmon avocado roll and the Lima roll which were both good, would definitely recommend the Lima roll. My friend got the crispy yucca that comes with the queso dip which was very good too. A bug flew into my rose and the waitress brought me a new one without hesitation so that was very sweet and I appreciated that a lot. However, the service was pretty slow in terms of waiting for our drinks (our food got there before our drinks) and asking for things such as water rather than the waitress coming to us. However, great experience still

We came to Kaiyo (restaurant, not rooftop!) for dinner on a Sunday and the restaurant was pleasantly calm, with only a few other tables so service was incredibly prompt. Everything at Kaiyo is shared so we ordered a little bit of everything to try - shishito peppers and miso butter corn ears to start, followed by the scallop mentaiko udon, lomo saltado and ginger shoyu chicken, and finishing off with the tea custard and the mousse dome. Our table enjoyed most of the dishes other than the desserts, which didn't quite hit the mark. The custard didn't have any tea aroma and the mousse dome was somewhat an unexpected texture and taste. Nevertheless, a solid spot for savory dinner options.

Came with a friend to see the views and grab some quick shareable bites!! We got the lima roll, miso black cod, and some drinks! The ambiance was nice, but be aware that there is glass on the side facing the FiDi views so photos taken will have a glare. I enjoyed the low lighting as well as the decorations they had. Definitely a very pretty venue! The service was decent and they were kind enough to take photos of customers! Food summary: Miso black cod 10/10 Very buttery and soft! Miso taste is quite good and the fish was cooked just right - not too salty and not too bland. I really enjoyed this dish and would get it again! Lima roll 10/10 I love love love torched and seared rolls, so the torched yellowtail on top of the roll was definitely my favorite part! A delicious roll that I would get again! Drinks 9/10 I got the poko drink, which was actually quite strong - alcohol taste wise. I did wish it were bit sweeter, but I still enjoyed it :) Would def come again !

I had an incredible experience at Kaiyo Rooftop Bar in San Francisco! The atmosphere is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the city that truly elevate the experience. The drinks were expertly crafted and absolutely delicious--each one more unique than the last. The food was equally impressive, with flavors that perfectly complemented the rooftop setting. Whether you're looking for a great place to unwind or celebrate with friends, Kaiyo has it all. The combination of amazing drinks, fantastic food, and stunning views makes this place a must-visit in the city!

Cool hangout spot but super windy. Food was good but definitely have had better food elsewhere for a different price as well but it is close to Oracle Park so you can grab a quick drink and snack before the game! Service was good but food took a while to get here which was such a wait just for fried chicken.

This place is sooo vibey! It's beautifully decorated with lots of plants and florals. They have a decent amount of space on their rooftop but it books up fast. It's nice for a special occasion but definitely charged the premium for food and drinks to go with the ambience. We shared a bunch of plates for 5 people including the sushi, karaage, beef, corn ribs and yucca fries. It was all delicious but don't think it was enough to fill everyone up. The cocktails were great, super fruity and tropical. Think the main downside was the service. It took a while for the drinks to come out, probably cause the bartender was so backed up. But we had a friend just order N.A. seltzer and they completely forgot about it. Or just didn't bring it out until the very end
